Well my dear reader, I am here to explain! But to start it is a game!
Genshin Impact was released in September 2020 from the company miHoYo, now known as Hoyoverse. Genshin Impact is an open-world action RPG developed for the PC, iOS/Android, and PS4/PS5 platforms. The game is free-to-play with a gacha monetization system in the form of Wishes. Currently there are 4 main regions in the game but speculated there to be 8 main regions in total. At the start of the game you can choose to be a male or female traveler. Lumine for female character and Aether as the male character. They are twins that travel different worlds until they were seperated at the start of the game.
